Our History

D Creatives Cabal has a unique and inspiring journey that began on October 2nd, 2022. Initially, we were known as the "UI/UX Design Platform," primarily established as a community for the talented interns who completed the Terra Learning program (formerly known as Sidehustle.ng). Our mission was to provide a platform for these interns to further their collaboration and design skills, particularly in the product industry. As time passed, our community's vision grew, and so did our aspirations. Recognizing the immense potential to impact a broader spectrum of designers, we decided to take a bold step. On November 2nd, 2023, we initiated a transformative change. This transformation marked a pivotal moment for us. We expanded our horizons beyond the confines of the product industry. We reached out to designers from various backgrounds and industries, inviting them to join us in a new, unified creative hub. D Creatives Cabal was reborn, a place where networking, connectivity, spotlights, promotion, learning, and personal and professional growth became our primary focus. We embraced diversity and innovation, encouraging a community where designers from all walks of life could connect, collaborate, and thrive together. Today, D Creatives Cabal stands and pushing to be a beacon for designers across Africa & the World at Large, embodying the spirit of unity, creativity, and relentless growth. We look forward to the remarkable journeys yet to come and the design transformations we'll create together.
